Madeleine Cocolas is an Australian composer and producer who creates predominantly post classical and ambient instrumental music. Her work moves between lush soundscapes to experimental electronics, field recordings and solo piano. Her latest album “Spectral”, released on Room40, garnered positive reviews from outlets including Pitchfork, The Wire, Electronic Sound Magazine as well as being featured as Bandcamp’s Album of the Day.

Art-folk virtuoso Bonniesongs, aka Bonnie Stewart, released her debut album Energetic Mind in September 2019 via Small Pond and Art As Catharsis. Bonnie’s lilting vocals float over gentle peaks of acoustic and electronic instruments, layered ethereally into what may be a moderately enchanted loop pedal. Under the spell of thrumming guitar, Stewart renders her arrangements with a fidelity of performance that seems to amplify an almost spectral presence.

Lack The Low is the project of Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist and composer Kat Hunter. Her music marries disparate sound-worlds and influences, combining impassioned vocal melodies with complex, maximalist arrangements. Hunter’s songs are delivered as field-notes for moving through existential doubt, addressing feelings of hopelessness about global warming, cruelty and grief, and breaking through to revelatory ideas about surrender, nurturing and receptivity.
